PET Metalized Anti-static Sealing Tape

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A translucent and lightly metalized polyester film tape coated with specially engineered static dissipative acrylic adhesive. The construction of the tape ensures that static charges of less than 20 volts are generated during unwinding and removal of tape from a wide variety of plastic substrates. #1550ASD is resistant to high temperatures and many common solvents and chemicals. Most importantly, the anti-static properties are unaffected by variations in humidity.

PRODUCT APPLICATIONS

#1550ASD is primarily used in production areas where a static-free environment is required such as in printed circuit board (PCB) assembly lines for the mounting of electronic components and circuits boards during testing procedures. Also used for sealing, repair and labelling of anti-static bags for circuit board and component packaging in clean room environments.
